Janelle Pedroza

Biography

Janelle graduated from Utah Valley University and received her Bachelor’s in Science and Arts in Community Health and Spanish. She has been working with multiple communities ever since she was in college and always knew she wanted to find a career where she can directly work with underserved communities, and continued to pursue her career while working for the SL County Health Department and Wasatch Behavioral Health. She has a variety of experiences working with Spanish-speaking families, children with disabilities and behavioral issues, clients in treatment centers seeking help for both mental health and addiction. Janelle has always had a drive in helping the community, and believes everyone should be helped in being able to improve their quality of life. She believes that people with disabilities deserve nothing but the best quality of life and helping them find the resources, support, and joy in the life they build for themselves. When not working, Janelle usually finds herself working out at a Crossfit gym, lifting weights or surrounding herself with dogs as she is a dog lover and animal lover at heart. She also enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family in Oregon, hiking, playing soccer and exploring new activities and experiences.
