Amber Foster

Biography

Amber is an outgoing person with a great love for life. She is the owner of Timpanogos Supports, as well as support coordinator. She has a Bachelors degree in Psychology, a Social Service Work license, and Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional certification. Amber has been in the social work field since 2001, six years of that with Child and Family Services, over one year with Division for Services for People with Disabilities, and the remaining as a support coordinator in the private sector. As part of Child and Family Services, Amber was the lead worker on her team, worked on the drug court team, and was involved with the House of Hope Advisory Board. Amber has experience working with people with disabilities in a variety of environments. Amber worked in a group home for TKJ, as well as provided services in apartment settings while she went to college. She also worked in the classroom at the Castle Valley Center, a school for children with disabilities. She is highly involved in the community. She has spent three years on the ISCA executive board as Vice President and President, served as chair of the Disability Advisory Council, as well as the Leadership Chair of the Utah Developmental Disabilities Council. Amber has sat on legislative advocacy groups, as well as work groups with DSPD. Amber takes great pride in her quality of work and relationships with those that she serves. She enjoys serving others, as well as spending time with her family. Amber’s great loves include racing, running in the mountains, traveling, and playing the piano.
